Today was a horrible day. Rich went to work this morning and came back home around 10:00 and let me know that he was laid off from his job. This couldn't be worse timing. We are both completely devastated and stressed beyond belief. We can't believe that they would actually be so cold hearted and do this to him while Tatum is still in the hospital. How horrible can people be??!! We will get through this too but we already have so much stress on us that we really didn't need this right now. We went to the hospital and spent the day and night with our little girl. The nurse told me that Tatum had pulled out her feeding tube but that she put it back in. I told her Dr. Patel said that they're supposed to leave it out and she basically waved me off and said that she needed it in and she put it back. I can't help but think that this stupid nurse has now pushed back Tatum progressing and getting out of the hospital. I spoke with Dr. Patel about it and the night nurse and he said he had now made everyone aware that is she pulls it out again that it is to remain out. I hope everyone will follow instructions and leave it out when she does pull it. I have a feeling she will pull it out again very soon. :)
